A Dogs World

When I look after a dog I treat them like my own, I love all my dogs as much as they love me they are as much my world as I am there’s a dogs life is too short, I wish they lived forever cause I scares me to loose them. A dog gets excited when you get home and that is my favourite thing in the world it shows how much they love you. When looking after owners dogs I look after them just as I would my own, I give them all the love and affection you would.

My diary is still open for house sitting and the 2025 diary is open.

First Aid and Lambing

I started lambing in 2019 and I fell in love with it so every march I go lambing since starting my business I night lambed it was hard dog walking in the day and lambing at night not much sleep was had that month. In January 2024 I took my IPet First aid course with Zoe from Sintonsand gundog’s firstly I had a blast she made it so much fun learning everything and more. I have had to only use my First aid skills a few times and once was on this little lamb above that had very long and relaxed tendons in his one leg which made it bend in the wrong direction and impossible for him to stand. I put a splint on it for 48 hours which gave his tendons time to tighten and then he could stand unaided .

I recommend that all professional dog walkers do this first aid course and any one with a pet or working dog the knowledge is invaluable to have.
