House Sitting

House sitting is very important it is being entrusted with someones pets and house, I take that role very seriously. No ask is too much when it comes down to your pets. One of the perks of house sitting is being able to walk in new places.

House sitting is a job, yes you have to sleep and eat while on the job but it is still a job. Your dog is treated like one of my own but they come first, for house sitting i have to bring my dogs with me. I know 6 extra dogs in your house sounds mad, but my dogs behave impeccably, and your house is left spotless for when you return. For dog friendly dogs they love it having other dog friends to play with. 9 out of 10 owners will message me when i get home to tell me there dogs are missing mine. When house sitting your dogs have the opportunity to join my group walks during the day or they can have solo walks that is completely up to the owner. House sitting dogs are only left for a maximum of 4 hours . I enjoy spending time with different dogs, every dog has a different personality and they can be so funny , I spend a lot of time alone in this job but working with dogs you cant really get lonely they entertain me.

All house sits are different I have house sits that are 2 days and i’ve got house sits that have been 2/3 weeks, your dogs become part of the family and I do miss them when i go home, there routine becomes my routine. Sleeping in a strange house isn’t always easy the first night or two takes a bit of getting used too for both me and my dogs. But we are so used to doing it now its become normal to us.

People ask is it not weird/scary staying in a different houses sometimes in the middle of no where, for me this is why I love that my house sitting clients let me bring my dogs cause I feel happier and safer with them. Without bringing my dogs I cant house sit because I myself have no one to look after my dogs. It is my dream for the future to get my boarding license when I have my own home.
